Jennifer Gulbin

Attorney Bio:

Jennifer Gulbin joined the litigation department of The Law Offices of Michael Cordova in December 2021, having previously worked as a law clerk for the firm during her final semester of law school.

A native of Scranton, Pennsylvania (home of “The Office”), Jennifer moved to Olympia, Washington, after college. She worked in workers’ compensation for 18 years, first as an adjudicator for the State of Washington and then as a third-party administrator in the private sector. In that capacity, Jennifer represented the interests of her clients before the Department of Labor & Industries and the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals (BIIA). Jennifer participated in countless mediation conferences and took numerous cases to appeal. She personally represented her clients in hearings if she determined that she could prevail without an attorney. In fact, one of the cases she won without the assistance of counsel was deemed a “Significant Decision” by the BIIA and has been cited in numerous cases since.

These successes inspired Jennifer to obtain her law degree, and she enrolled at Arizona State University in 2016. Within a few months of experiencing the sun and desert landscapes, Jennifer and her husband realized that they wanted to make Arizona their home. At ASU, Jennifer received several CALI awards for earning the highest grade in a class. Her extracurricular activities included participating in the Post-Conviction Clinic and reviving the school’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund chapter, serving as its President.

After law school, Jennifer worked in workers’ compensation defense and insurance defense before finding her home in plaintiffs’ personal injury at The Law Offices of Michael Cordova. Jennifer enjoys getting to know her clients and advocating for them in the litigation process. Jennifer and her husband like working on home projects, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with their dogs: a Great Dane named Quinn and a Doberman/Staffordshire mix named Zavey.
