Bio:

Jessica was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and has lived in Arizona all her life. She attended Arizona State University for both her undergraduate and law school education. While in law school Jessica was an Articles Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal. She was a Pedrick Scholar and received honors in Legal Research and Writing. Jessica graduated from law school with cum laude distinction.

Following law school, Jessica was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Frederick J. Martone with the United States District Court, District of Arizona (2002-2003) and for the Honorable William C. Canby, Jr., with the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (2003-2004). Jessica’s professional experience also includes working as a deputy county attorney for the Yavapai County Attorney’s Office in Prescott, Arizona, as an associate with the law firm of Lewis and Roca in their commercial litigation and white collar/criminal defense practice groups, as a solo practitioner with her law practice focused on indigent criminal defense.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling, writing, and ballroom dance.  She is also an avid baseball fan.
