Woman’s lawsuit claims sex assault by deputy in St. Croix County Jail

A lawsuit filed against St. Croix County alleges a corrections officer sexually assaulted a woman while she was an inmate in the county jail.
According to the suit, a deputy with the St. Croix County sheriff’s office forced the woman to “come in contact with his genitals” while confining her in a maintenance closet in the Hudson, Wis., jail.
The lawsuit, filed in December, also alleges the deputy made harassing sexual comments to the woman, had contact with her genitals and used cleaning equipment to touch the woman’s breasts and saturate her jail uniform with water.
