Metro sports giants clash in court

In a clash between metro Detroit’s two giant sports empires, Palace Sports & Entertainment, owner of the Detroit Pistons, is suing Olympia Entertainment, owner of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings.
Palace Sports alleges former employees stole confidential information when they left to work for Olympia.
The lawsuit, filed in Oakland County Circuit Court this week, names nine former employees who followed Tom Wilson, former Palace Sports CEO, to Olympia beginning in February. They included sales and marketing executives.
