Lawsuit Filed In Canton Hit-And-Run Case

HARTFORD — The mother of a 7-year-old girl seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Canton has sued the teen who is accused of driving the car.
Karie H. Ogonoski filed a lawsuit Friday against Leonita Scanlon, 18, in Superior Court. The lawsuit accuses Scanlon of hitting the girl while speeding on Dowd Avenue in January. Ogonoski is seeking more than $15,000 in damages.
