Blimpie’s target of false advertising lawsuit

EDWARDSVILLE - A lawsuit filed recently in Madison County says Blimpie’s “Super Stacked” subs don’t live up to advertising claims, but a spokeswoman for the restaurant chain took strong issue with the allegation today.

 

The target of the lawsuit is Arizona-based Kahala Corp., which operates Blimpies and other chain restaurants. Plaintiffs are county residents Ronald Williams and Jennifer Clayton, who are said to be regular Blimpie customers. They are represented by the LakinChapman law firm of Wood River.
